Summary

The Vice President of Operations (Cloud, SaaS) at MasterControl is responsible for leading and managing the company’s cloud infrastructure, SaaS operations, DevOps practices, and technical operations (TechOps) to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.

This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality SaaS solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Cloud Infrastructure : Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure; develop cloud strategy.
• SaaS Operations : Manage daily operations, ensure high availability and performance.
• DevOps : Lead implementation of DevOps practices, foster collaboration between development and operations.
• Technical Operations : Oversee network management, system administration, and IT support.
• Team Leadership : Build and mentor high-performing teams across all areas of responsibility.
• Strategic Planning : Develop and execute strategies aligned with company goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with other departments to ensure successful delivery of SaaS solutions.
• Risk Management and Compliance : Maintain security and compliance programs.
• Incident Management : Lead processes for addressing service disruptions.
• Observability and Monitoring : Implement strategies for system performance visibility.
• Developer Experience : Enhance workflows and collaboration between Ops and Dev teams.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Cloud, SaaS, DevOps, and TechOps operations, with a proven track record of success in senior leadership roles.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a strong understanding of cloud architecture and services.
• Deep knowledge of SaaS operations, including monitoring, incident management, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies, including CI / CD, automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with technical operations, including system administration, network management, and IT support.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $280,000 - $300,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
