Hamilton Miller & Birthisel, a litigation defense firm, seeks several experienced paralegals with 3-5 years functioning in an insurance defense capacity with specific experience in premises / bodily injury, and first party property.
HMB continues to grow so we are looking to fill various full-time positions with a potential hybrid work environment. There is room for YOU!
The ideal candidate will possess the following :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, a team player, and a great multitasker.
- Knowledgeable with computer programs : Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Outlook
- Knowledgeable in state & federal court rules
- Prior trial experience is a plus.

Salary : $55,000.00 - $67,000.00 + per year

Education :
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience :
- Microsoft Office : 1 year (Preferred)
- Legal Assistant : 3-5 years with insurance defense background
Work Location : In person (Miami) and remote (Jacksonville)
