Description
and Qualifications :
- NICET II Certification ( Must Obtain Within 1 Year ) and 5+ years of experience in testing, repairing, troubleshooting, and installing complex Fire Alarm and MNS equipment required.
- High school diploma and advanced electronics training (e.g., junior college, military service, trade school) preferred.
- 5% travel required.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.).
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and climb towers up to 50 feet (training provided).
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Internet, and email.
- Ability to pass a background check to access US military installations.
Additional Qualifications :
- Experience with Fire Alarming, Suppression, and Detection Systems, Fire Sprinkler Systems, Fire Pumps (Electric and Diesel), Interior Mass Notification Systems, EBI, Monaco D21 monitoring system, and associated equipment.
- Knowledge of Fire Extinguishers, Halon-FM 200 Systems, Standpipes, Honeywell and Monaco fire alarm servers and workstations, and related equipment.
- Completion of the 30-hour OSHA Construction safety class or equivalent.
