The Role Lumen offers a fully immersive, 10-week summer internship program. Our interns demonstrate curiosity, innovation, and a passion for advancing technology.

Program dates : May 30 August 8, 2025. Location This position is fully remote / work from home. The Main Responsibilities Work across teams to understand needs and goals of stakeholders for social media posts.

Assist in management of DMs and responses on platforms. Work proactively to pull triggers for content related to our business’ values and strategic initiatives.

Pitch ideas for content (e.g., Live videos, still posts, carousel posts, interviews, Reels, stories, etc.) Assist with copywriting for post captions across multiple channels (internal and external).

Create graphics and / or stories using social media tools like Adobe Spark. Create a mini campaign for a unique business priority from top to bottom.

Monitor or create dashboards for social media listening topics of interest. Pull social media metrics and synthesize takeaways for leaders across the business in plain language with actionable insights.

What We Look For in a Candidate Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate’s commitment of the entire 10-week program.

Required qualifications Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship Graduating August 2025 May 2027 Preferred fields include bur not limited to : Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 August 8, 2025) US work authorization is required.

Individuals needing visa sponsorship are not eligible. Proficiency and understanding of : Prior experience with content creation, engagement, and social media scheduling Ability to create multimedia content for social posts like photos, videos, reels, stories, polls, etc.

experience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps like Photoshop and Illustrator are a bonus, though not required. Stay up to date with social network trends and news Excellent copywriting skills Passion for creativity, new projects, and working with cross-functional groups and organizations Desire to learn and grow alongside a fun team of social media professionals Compensation Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual’s level of education, geographic location, and experience / qualifications aligned to the role.

Hourly Based Pay Range : Min : $22.00 / hour Max : $35.00 / hour What to Expect Next After completion and submission of your application, you will be asked to participate in a virtual video interview.

Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
