Audubon is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our project team working onsite at a client's plant in Waggaman, LA.
The Project Manager will manage multiple capital projects and provide oversight. Projects range from small maintenance replacement projects to major capital expansion projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Key Areas of Responsibility will include :
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure adherence to the scope, cost and schedule requirements.
- Requesting and overseeing additional project management resources to execute the approved annual capital plan.
- Developing and documenting project scope objectives by conferring with subject matter experts.
- Ensuring adherence to engineering standards during design and construction.
- Preparing work scope documents and cost estimates, in consultation with construction management and cost estimating resources.
- Reviewing bids from contractors.
- Determining project schedule, in consultation with construction management and scheduling resources.
- Maintaining project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving issues.
- Controlling project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes, taking corrective actions.
- Maintaining safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Additional duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

- Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline from an accredited university
- 5+ years of Project Management experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
