Project Manager

External Description

Audubon is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our project team working onsite at a client's plant in Waggaman, LA.

The Project Manager will manage multiple capital projects and provide oversight. Projects range from small maintenance replacement projects to major capital expansion projects.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

Key Areas of Responsibility will include :

• Managing multiple projects simultaneously to ensure adherence to the scope, cost and schedule requirements.
• Requesting and overseeing additional project management resources to execute the approved annual capital plan.
• Developing and documenting project scope objectives by conferring with subject matter experts.
• Ensuring adherence to engineering standards during design and construction.
• Preparing work scope documents and cost estimates, in consultation with construction management and cost estimating resources.
• Reviewing bids from contractors.
• Determining project schedule, in consultation with construction management and scheduling resources.
• Maintaining project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving issues.
• Controlling project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes, taking corrective actions.
• Maintaining safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Additional duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and written / oral communication skills.
• Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline from an accredited university
• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
