Responsibilities
Performs all aspects of Respiratory Care under limited supervision of a Critical Care Therapist or Respiratory Supervisor on patients of all ages with a high degree of skill, quality and accuracy.
Also assures that all Respiratory Care procedures are provided to properly identified patients according to MMH policy and procedure and maintains confidentiality and HIPAA regulations with all patients.
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and advanced customer. Prior Pulmonary Function Tech, working with Patients that need to be providing oversite for our Pulmonary Service line.
Communicates effectively with Multiple discipline Team. Service Excellence skills. Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
Other duties as assigned.

About Universal Health Services
Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an AMA approved, 2 or 4 year Respiratory Care program or equivalent, and registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and licensed by the State of Florida as a Respiratory Therapist in good standing.
Ability to work with adult patients in the ICU with ability to float throughout all critical care area
Valid Florida RRT license
Must complete annual departmental competency training
AHA BLS, ACLS required
Critical Care Respiratory Therapist who is competent in intubation in a Level II NICU
Must obtain PALS and NRP certification upon hire
Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required
