ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher (SPED) for a full-time position in Franklin, WI, for the 2024 / 2025 school year.
This role involves working with a small high school caseload, providing individualized support and instruction to ensure student success.
Position Details :
- Job Title : Special Education Teacher (SPED)
- Location : Franklin, WI
- Schedule : Full-Time, Monday through Friday
- Caseload : 10-12 high school students
Qualifications :
- Active Wisconsin Special Education Teaching License
- Experience working with high school students in a special education setting
- Strong skills in developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Responsibilities :
- Manage a caseload of 10-12 high school students, providing tailored instruction and support based on individual needs
- Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the IEP team
- Monitor and assess student progress, making necessary adjustments to instructional strategies
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to support student goals and academic achievement
