Logistics Operations Specialist(Bilingual English/Japanese)

Summary :

An operations specialist is to ensure a company's processes run smoothly and efficiently. They may perform a variety of tasks, including : Analyzing operations, Managing day-to-day tasks, Creating procedures, Communicating and coordinating with employees, vendors, and other teams.

Responsibilities :

• Monitor day-to-day operations, report on performance, and recommend actionable improvements when necessary
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, and manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
• Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products.
• Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Communicate and coordinate with employees (including executive operations team) and vendors
• Assist the manager in developing, planning, and coordinating operational activities
• Create and process orders in a timely manner, processing requests for rush orders, and reviewing pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Input orders, ensuring they are processed according to customer requirements, and ensuring all orders are accurate and delivered on time.
• Perform data entry tasks and maintain an organized and accessible filing system.
• Handling administrative duties for the company and its executives and management teams.
• Reporting any unusual activity to your supervisors.
• Manage document accuracy. requires complex knowledge of customers, carriers, and procedures.
• Maintaining records and performing data analysis

Requirements :

• Associate degree in a related field
• Bilingual English and Japanese (English : Business level or higher, Japanese : Conversational or higher)
• One year freight forwarding(Import / Export) related experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem-solving skills
• Organizational skills, including time management
• Demonstrated ability to adjust to new environments and handle changing priorities effectively.
• Two or more years of experience in an operational or similar role preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other productivity applications and platforms

This position requires full on-site attendance during the training period, with the possibility of hybrid work afterward.
