Responsibilities
- Collaborate on plan production to produce high quality plans, specifications that follow agency standards and guidelines
- Coordinate project drawings using MicroStation, OpenRoads and / or AutoCAD software
- Complete design tasks and produce high quality plans, specifications, and estimate deliverables to create an exemplary client experience
- Collaborate with engineering staff on technical challenges while adhering to task performance indicators, budgets, and schedules
- Develop traffic operations and safety studies to improve vehicular and pedestrian safety
Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program required
- EI / EIT certification or the ability to obtain it within 1 year
- 0-4 years of related traffic experience
- Software experience with Microsoft Office, Microstation Open Roads Designer (ORD), Civil 3D, and / or AGI32 Lighting preferred
- Experience with Synchro and / or Vissim is a plus
- Self-motivated and adaptable, including the capability to learn virtual collaboration tools
