Job Description : Join our healthcare team as a Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a 13-week assignment in Columbia, SC.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in a high-quality healthcare setting while exploring the charm and culture of Columbia.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
- Set up and maintain a sterile operating room environment.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and condition throughout the surgical process.
- Work closely with the surgical team, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient care and surgical procedures.
- Follow all sterile techniques and safety protocols diligently.
Qualifications :
- Valid RN license in South Carolina.
- At least 2 years of OR nursing experience.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Proficiency in perioperative nursing practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
