About The Position

Job Details

Position : Emergency Medicine PA

Location : California

Coverage Start : Early December

Hours : Mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts

Responsibilities :

• Conduct full workups for patients presenting with chest pains, abdominal pains, sepsis, appendicitis, obstructions, diverticulitis, dizziness / vertigo, and surgical workups.
• Manage early DKA cases and rule out chest pains.
• Interpret EKGs and chest X-rays.
• Understand protocols for patient admissions to the hospital and direct transfers to the operating room.
• Provide care for newborns (1-2 weeks old) and geriatric patients.
• Manage respiratory issues such as RSV in infants.
• Oversee MRI and ultrasound management.
• Perform toenail removals.
