The Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst ensures timely and reliable financial reporting by analyzing data, preparing statements, and collaborating across departments.
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in contributing to informed business decisions.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for the manufacturing unit according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and potential issues, and provide insights to support informed decision-making.
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
- Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, inventory, cost accounting) to gather necessary financial information.
- Stay up-to-date on accounting standards and regulations relevant to manufacturing.
- Prepare and maintain detailed financial records for audit purposes.
- Work collaboratively with the Finance team to ensure efficient and accurate financial reporting.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in financial reporting or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Oracle Hyperion, SAP) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
