About the job
As aSpeech Language Pathologist, you help patients get their powerback. You are the person who can help people communicate, swallow,and work to diminish or remediate disorders or deficits.
In doingthis, you take responsibility for the effective and efficientdelivery of rehab services, you design the plan, and work withpatients to execute those plans.
You're a healerand a helper, which is why you got into this line ofwork.
You're equally adept at addressing thewhole patient and seeing them as an individual, and you know yourgoal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, andenhance their speech and communication abilities.
You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can findjoy in the variety of the work and the settings. From cleaningequipment to reporting to meetings, you thrive in a setting thatkeeps you moving through your day.
You're ateammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, butyou're also happy to make referrals to help your patient get thecare they need to thrive.

Qualifications
1.A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, CommunicationDisorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly-titled area that isconsistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-HearingAssociation.
2. A Certificate of Clinical Competence fromthe American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or beeligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow.
We will alsoaccept candidates who are eligible to obtain the Certificate ofClinical Competence.
3. Licensed, certified orcredentialed, as required in the state ofpractice.
