Description :
TEKsystems is seeking a cleared Windows Systems Administrator (Citrix focused) to support the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) in Quantico, VA.
It’s a hybrid opportunity (3 days onsite and 2 days remote). This individual can start with a Secret clearance and be upgraded to a TS / SCI.
This individual should have experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), Citrix VDI Administration, and DISA STIGs.
An IAT II Certification ( CompTIA Security+) is required. The contract period of performance has another 2+ years remaining
NCIS is an organization of over 2,200 personnel of which 700 serve at HQ and the remaining staff serve at offices worldwide.
NCIS is the Department of Navy (DON) component with primary responsibility for criminal investigation, law enforcement (LE), counterterrorism (CT), counterintelligence (CI), and cyber matters.
NCIS not only has primary responsibility for all criminal investigative, CI, CT, and cyber matters within the DON, but it also has exclusive investigative jurisdiction in non-combat matters involving actual, potential, or suspected criminal, terrorism, sabotage, espionage, and subversive activities.
Skills :
oWindows Server administration.
oDomain / Active Directory administration, DNS, Group Policy Objects, DHCP.
oUpdate and maintain master VDI Windows images.
oPerform software upgrades, Windows patch installs, and firmware upgrades.
oConfigure systems based on security guidelines (, DISA STIGs and ACAS scans).
oCitrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (CVA&D), Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS).
oUpgrade Citrix-based applications and hardware as required.
oDell Wyse terminal integration.
oAssist with daily operations and maintenance of enterprise Windows-based environments.
oProvide support for unplanned system outages and service disruptions.
oResolve Tier 3 requests.
oDocument work for leadership, update / create Standard Operating Procedures, and brief staff and customers on various tasks.
Security Clearance Level :
Secret clearance to start; must be able to obtain TS / SCI
Preferred Skills :
Citrix NetScaler’s; in lieu experience with NLB and F5 will be considered
Strong understanding of Citrix Web Application Firewall (WAF)
