About The Position
Job Title : Echo Sonographer Job Specialty : Echo Lab Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Days (Variable Shift Requirements) Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum of two years License : ARDMS required Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association Must-Have : Two years of experience with the ability to scan adult patients.
- Experience with pediatric patients is a plus. Job Description : Perform complete cardiac echo on adult patients.- Operate one Toshiba and three GE echo machines within the department.
- Utilize EPIC for charting; echo images are stored using Change Healthcare systems.- Mobility to go portable and perform duties on other floors as necessary.
- Wear olive scrubs as the dress code.- Participate in an orientation program focusing on EPIC workflow and templates. Additional Information : Guaranteed hours are not applicable during the orientation period.
