A company is looking for a Quality Control Forms Coordinator to manage medical record forms and ensure compliance within the Health Information Management department.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate activities of the Medical Record Forms Committee and manage the forms library
Conduct quality reviews and support departmental education initiatives through training and compliance initiatives
Serve as a liaison between clinical areas and the printing department for form management and compliance
Required Qualifications
Associates of Science Degree with Emphasis in Health Information Technology
Knowledge of medical group processing, regulatory requirements, and HIPAA
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking skills
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) preferred
