Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled and experienced diesel tractor / trailer mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered tractors and trailers to ensure their safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel tractors and trailers, including oil changes, tire rotations, and vehicle inspections.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on diesel tractors and trailers.
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other components.
  • Replace worn or damaged parts, such as brakes, tires, and suspension components.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on diesel tractors and trailers.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Diesel mechanic degree or a minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, with specific experience working on tractors and trailers.
  • In-depth knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Class A CDL or the ability to obtain.
