About The Position
Job Title : CVOR Tech Job Specialty : Surgery - General (Major) Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 8 Hour Days Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours per Week Experience : Minimum of 1 Year in Cardiovascular Technology License : Graduation from a Surgical Technologist Program Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred Must-Have : Cardiovascular experience, minimum of 1 year.
Job Description : Perform surgical technologist duties for cardiovascular and vascular procedures, as well as general and orthopedic surgeries as needed.
- Wear hospital-laundered scrubs as part of the dress code.- Work on a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 0645 to 1515, with some 0600 starts required.
- Participate in weekday and weekend call rotation, with potential holiday call duties.- No charting responsibilities required.
- The facility houses 15 operating rooms. Additional Information : A one-week orientation program is provided, consisting of 8-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.
- The environment adheres to a drug-free policy, and a negative drug screen is required for all panels.
