Position InformationPosition / Rank Academic Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and Pediatrician / Rank Dependent on QualificationsDepartment 01277 - Pediatric Behavioral HealthCity Salt Lake City, UTTrack Track Dependent on QualificationsNew Position to Begin CY2023DetailsThe Division of Pediatric Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at the University of Utah, Department of Pediatrics and Primary Children’s Hospital ( PCH ), is looking for an outstanding triple board trained Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our growing faculty and provide both psychiatric and pediatric care at Primary Children’s Hospital.

Clinically, this individual will spend half of their time working as a pediatric hospitalist and half of their time working as a child psychiatry attending on the behavioral health consult service, all at Primary Children’s Hospital.

Clinical duties will include some nights, weekends, and pager call. The physician will work within multi-disciplinary teams to provide clinical care, educate future health care providers, conduct research, and engage in advocacy.

Qualified candidates must be Board Eligible / Board Certified in Pediatrics, General Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

The selected candidate will receive a faculty appointment in the Department of Pediatrics on the Clinical or Tenure track at the academic level commensurate with experience and qualifications.

The Department and University offers a competitive salary and an unmatched benefits program, including non-contributory retirement contributions of 20.
