Description :

Travel RN position in Telemetry.

This role involves providing care for patients in a telemetry unit.

The unit has a capacity of 32 beds.

Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4-8 RNs, 2 floor CNAs, and 1 sitter on day shift.

Night shift staffing ratios are similar.

Patient ratios are typically 4 or 5 : 1.

The unit uses GE Telemetry systems for monitoring.

Electronic medical records are managed through Meditech.

Candidates with experience caring for post-operative CABG patients are preferred.

Ideal candidates will be outgoing, team players, and willing to take initiative.

Typical procedures performed include IV and foley starts, and chest tube removal.
