JOB SUMMARY :
The scope of this job is to provide and supervise on-site technical support services for the audiovisual (AV) and video teleconference (VTC) systems situated in multiple rooms at a secure location in the Washington, DC area.
The individual shall devote continuous on-site AV / VTC system operation support working with classified and unclassified systems.
The individual performing at these sites will ensure continuous operational readiness of equipment, operate equipment, perform preventive maintenance and perform troubleshooting and coordinate the activities of other support personnel.
Compensation Range : $82,500 - $95,000

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Operate, monitor, and adjust AV equipment to include connecting audio, video, power, communication and control cables, microphones loudspeakers, VTC and recording equipment.
- Configure and troubleshoot classified and unclassified VTCs.
- Coordinate with, and supervise the work of, other support personnel.
- Set up and take down equipment for meetings and ensure all meeting spaces remain in ready state.
- Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, and manage moves, adds, and changes.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist (AVIXA CTS)
- Minimum 6 years of experience supporting fixed / portable AV / VTC systems and equipment from multiple OEMs including Cisco, Poly, Crestron, and Extron operating AV systems including sound, video projection, displays, control panels, video switchers, videoconferencing, videotape recording and playback.
