Olson Kundig is a design practice founded on the ideas that buildings can serve as a bridge between nature, culture and people, and that inspiring surroundings have a positive effect on people’s lives.

The firm’s work can be found across the globe, with projects as wide-ranging as huts to high rises, homes often for art collectors to academic, cultural and civic projects, museums and exhibition design, places of worship, creative production, urban design, and interior design.

Currently, we are seeking a Project Architect who can help contribute to the overall excellence of work coming from Olson Kundig.

Must-haves

  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of post-bachelors degree Architecture firm experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or another related field.
  • Experience working with High-end residential
  • Possess an innovative style and an interest in sustainable building performance and research and development
  • Must have good experience with Revit
  • Should have good graphic skills and ability to perform analyses of design, planning, and occupancy studies and limited design layouts
  • Document project specifications and create reports, plans, estimates, and calculations
  • Experience with construction administration
  • Technically strong enough to provide guidance to junior resources on the team
  • Ability to be a liaison with the PM and other architects on the team.

  • Pro-active and dynamic in their skills and leadership

Nice to have

  • Experience working with High-end residential
  • Experience with tools such as Deltek, AutoCAD

As a firm, we are committed to pay practices that are fair, competitive, and reflect internal pay equity. At the time of posting this job, the hiring range for this position in Seattle is between $86,000 and $94,000 annually.

Final salary decisions are made based upon the extent and relatedness of the candidate’s education and experience and considering internal equity and external market factors.
