Job Overview - Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN) :
Become a vital part of the healthcare team in White Plains, NY, as a Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN). You’ll collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing exceptional care while ensuring alignment with hospital policies and demonstrating leadership.
Compensation : $111,000 - $146,000 / year
Location : White Plains, NY
Schedule : Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM (Full-Time, Day Shift)
Responsibilities as the Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN) :
- Patient Care : Utilize the nursing process to meet the biophysical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of patients.
- Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Infection Control : Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and Joint Commission safety standards.
- Delegation : Delegate tasks in compliance with the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Leadership : Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed. Qualifications for the Labor and Delivery Nurse (RN) :
- Education : Must hold a BSN degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure : Current New York RN license.
- Experience : 1+ year of Acute Care Nursing experience preferred (especially for areas outside medical-surgical or step-down units).
- Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required.
