Mechanical Design Engineer - Structural Steel
This permanent, full-time Mechanical Design Engineer position in Structural Steel is based at a stable, innovative manufacturing facility in Caledonia, Wisconsin. Salary : $70,000.00 - $86,500.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Managing and overseeing several engineering projects from inception to completion.
- Ensuring that all engineering projects adhere to timelines and specifications.
- Designing unique mechanical solutions for metal products, considering both functionality and innovation.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance product designs and applications.
- Mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior engineers and design team members.
- Utilizing advanced design technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency and outcomes.
Minimum Position Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum of two years experience in mechanical design engineering.Proven experience in structural metal product design.Hands-on experience with metal product fabrication processes.Proficient in using AutoCAD and 3D design software for design tasks.Adept in both electrical systems and mechanical systems functionalities.Strong work history showcasing dedication and career growth.Reside within a 45-minute commute to the workplace in Caledonia, Wisconsin.Legal authorization to work in the US as a citizen or green card holder.Preferred Qualifications :
Advanced degree or certifications relevant to mechanical or structural engineering.Prior leadership or project management experience in engineering projects is highly desirable.Experience in government contracting projects or related work is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.Experience in sustainable and environmentally conscious design practices.Skills :
