Fire Protection Estimator

Are you a skilled Fire Protection Estimator with a passion for precision and accuracy? Do you have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or several years of hands-on experience in estimating fire sprinkler / alarm systems?

Position Overview :

As a Fire Protection Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by providing accurate and detailed estimates for fire sprinkler / alarm system installations.

Your expertise in the field, knowledge of industry standards, and ability to use CAD / BIM software will contribute to our project planning and execution.

Responsibilities :

  • Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates for fire sprinkler / alarm systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure accurate estimation of materials, labor, and project timelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure estimates align with the latest standards.
  • Utilize CAD / BIM software to create accurate designs and estimates.
  • Prepare detailed and competitive bids for prospective projects.
  • Maintain clear and organized records of estimates and related documentation.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in preparing estimates in the Fire Alarm / Sprinkler systems field.
  • Strong knowledge of the fire protection industry, including codes and standards.
  • CAD / BIM experience is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
