Hello! Our client is in need of a senior accountant. This role is being added due to growth within the organization. They are looking for an eager staff accountant with 3 4 years of experience who can join their team and work very closely with sr.

management. This role is on-site five days a week and offers an opportunity to grow within the organization!

Job Description

• Facilitate and complete month-end closing procedures to include general ledger reconciliations, journal entries and the ability to research and determine the most effective means of handling accounting transactions.
• Preparation of financial statements to include balance sheet, income statements by department and statement of cash flow.
• Analyze financial statements to include variances in the P&L against budget and meet deadlines in accordance with a month-end closing calendar.
• Maintain the accounts within the ERP system for general ledger, accounts payable, and receivables.
• Support the Controller and Corporate Accounting Manager with special projects and workflow process improvements.
• Research, develop and maintain accounting policies in accordance with GAAP.

Hard Skills / Requirements

• Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
• 3-4 years of experience in corporate accounting
• General Ledger Accounting
