Job Description
- Facilitate and complete month-end closing procedures to include general ledger reconciliations, journal entries and the ability to research and determine the most effective means of handling accounting transactions.
- Preparation of financial statements to include balance sheet, income statements by department and statement of cash flow.
- Analyze financial statements to include variances in the P&L against budget and meet deadlines in accordance with a month-end closing calendar.
- Maintain the accounts within the ERP system for general ledger, accounts payable, and receivables.
- Support the Controller and Corporate Accounting Manager with special projects and workflow process improvements.
- Research, develop and maintain accounting policies in accordance with GAAP.
Hard Skills / Requirements
- Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
- 3-4 years of experience in corporate accounting
