Overview Of Position

As a Senior Software Developer you will be part of Collaborative project team, responsible for understanding business requirement, development, reviewing code, writing unit test scenarios, and fixing defects for in use module / applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, build and execute data driven marketing automation journeys to communicate with Customers via periodic emails, mobile push notifications SMS etc.)
• Implement complex code (e.g. dynamic email content, AMPScript, SSJS) and advanced automation and journey logic based on the feature / project requirements.
• Responsible for iteratively improving our Marketing Cloud data model and architecture, including our technical documentation and internal processes.
• Participate in QA and reporting on email performance and customer data.
• Participate in front-end development building Cloud Pages utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AMPScript.
• Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes and enhancements.
• Participate in change management process, communicate across relevant stakeholders, and conduct regular deployments.
• Support day-to-day maintenance, upgrades, testing, releases, and complete regular internal system audits.
• Writing documents and providing technical training for Salesforce staff.

Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Solid hands-on experience (3+ years) with AMP Script, SSJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
• Experience with API integrations (REST / SOAP)
• Understanding of Agile practices and associated tools (Jira / Azure DevOps or similar)
• Experience with reporting and analytics tools.
• Ability to learn quickly, be organized and detail oriented.
• Experience building, deploying, and testing responsive content.
• Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and changes.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate, influence and provide guidance in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Experience with CI / CD tools
• Experience with complex data structures, data modelling and databases
• Experience with any Salesforce clouds
• Experience with any marketing automations tools / platforms
• General understanding of key digital marketing trends
