Creative Project Manager III

JobSummary :

As a Creative ProjectManager you must be able to manage multiple creative projects atthe same time from developing initial statements of work estimatesand timelines through project delivery.

You will be responsible fordeveloping and implementing the project plan and budget and workingwith creative leadership on staff plan.

You must manage changethroughout the life of each project; monitoring project status andensuring changing resource and project requirements arecommunicated to all members of the project team.

Responsibilities :

• Lead complex projects independently
• Create basic SOW documents timelines andbudgets
• Contribute to the creative process byassessing feasibility of the proposed solutions
• Develop implement and manage the project plan
• Daytoday management of the project from initiationthrough implementation : Monitor project scopes schedules andbudgets;

maintain status settings and communicate project status;and adjust resources and priorities accordingly.

• Resolve schedule and resource conflicts
• Track and report project budgets andfinancials
• Collaborate closely with theAccount Manager assigned to the project to be the clientrelationship lead the client directly when appropriate as well ascreative leadership and other agency professionals to planresources
• Oversee the project teams activitiesto guarantee overall quality of work and ensure the project isdelivered on time and on budget
• Work withinour agency management system Workamajig to build projects estimatesand schedules
• Ensure that proper forecastingis being done for all assigned creative projects
• Attend and participate actively in all necessary statusmeetings.
• Follow established approvalsprocesses. Coordinate with production staff throughout the creativedevelopment process.
• Coordinate with anyfreelance or outside creative resources / vendors asneeded.
• Keep detailed records of the life of aproject and share information as necessary.
• Ensure that issues and risks are anticipated identifiedand properly escalated and resolved. Seek final resolution on allissues so projects do not stall or fall out of scope withoutwarning.
• Conduct internal copy / layout reviewswith core team and ensure all assets are routed internally withspecific attention to required creative and proofreadingapprovals.
• Ensure adequate amount of timewhenever possible for the routing and review ofmaterials.
• Facilitate presentations and reviewof final asset with client and provide recommendations pertainingto budget timing production etc.
• Identifyoutofscope activities.
• Manage change requestsinitiated by the account team to ensure delivery and completion byfull team

Qualifications :

• A minimum of 7 years of project management orprofessional services experience
• Knowledge ofproject management software tools and managementtechniques
• Handson experience with thedaytoday management of multiple projects
• Demonstrated track record of successfully planning andmanaging small and mediumscale project implementations from startto finish
• 12 years direct client interactionand management
• 12 years indirect financialmanagement responsibilities; projectlevel budgetmanagement
• Experience working within agencymanagement or project management software such asWorkmajig
• Understanding of creativeproduction.
• A selfstarter who iscurious.
• Extremely detailed oriented andorganized.
• Exceptional time managementskills
• Excellent writing and communicationskills.
• Cool calm collected andcollaborative.
• Strong sense of design andexperience with industry leading creative output.
• Proficient in MS Office applications Adobe AcrobatProfessional.
