My well-respected client in the Salt Lake Metro area is looking to add a Dental Hygienist to their already well-established team.
All of their staff members are offered continued training to assist in your transition into the role. They also offer a competitive compensation package which includes health insurance plans, a competitive bonus structure, PTO, and 401k.
The ideal candidate for this position will have all, or the majority of the following :
Responsibilities :
- Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance.
- Take radiographs of patients using standard dental radiographic equipment.
- Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patients chart.
- Applying preventive materials to the teeth such as fluorides and sealants.
- Perform the following duties as applicable by practice and / or state laws :
- Screen for Oral Cancer.
- Take alginate impressions and fabricate whitening trays.
Qualifications :
- Valid Dental Hygienist License Minimum of an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene.
- Maintain up to date trainings as required by law.
- Versed in Dentrix is preferred.
- Certification for other duties as required by the state practice act.
