As the Regional Business Development Manager for Sunny Sky's Aguas Frescas Distribution, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase sales, market penetration, and brand awareness within your assigned region.
You will manage existing distributors as well as expand targeted markets and open new distributors. You will work with distributor representatives to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Expand existing distributor customer base
- Through business analytics and networking, identify and open new markets and business opportunities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the Aguas Frescas distribution network.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key decision-makers to drive product placement and availability.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of DSD sales representatives to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools and support to achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with Sunny Sky marketing team to develop localized marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
- Monitor and manage regional budgets, expenses, and profitability to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities to senior management.
Required Skills / Abilities / Education
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Bi-lingual - Spanish / English Required
- Proficient with CRM system - Salesforce
- Proven experience (5+ years) in sales management, preferably in the beverage or foodservice industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that resulted in business growth.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
- Excellent analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Travel within the assigned region as needed.
