Medical Customer Service Specialist
Phoenix, AZ 85253
Pay Rate : $17.50 per hour
Monday - Friday (8-4 : 30p)
Responsibilities :
Serve as the first point of contact for patients and their families, both in person and over the phone.
Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
Schedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and assist with patient registration and check-in processes.
Collect and verify patient information, insurance details, and medical history accurately and confidentially.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal care coordination.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Handle billing inquiries, insurance claims, and assist with financial arrangements.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when dealing with patients, their families, and fellow team members.
Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and privacy laws to ensure patient confidentiality and data security.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a medical front office or healthcare setting.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively.
Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling systems.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance procedures, and billing processes.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Professional and friendly demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
