The Sr. Manager, Marketing leads the day-to-day activities associated with implementing the agency's outreach, marketing and communication plans under the oversight of the Sr.

Director, Enrollment & Marketing. The Sr. Manager, Marketing oversees all campaigns across agency divisions, uses data to set metrics, and assess, evaluate, and refine these efforts.

They ensure their team meets key deadlines with accuracy and independence. Key responsibilities include increasing outreach to increase program participation, brand awareness, managing vendors, monitoring brand guidelines, and promoting internal and external communication.

Additionally, they plan and oversee marketing projects, campaign calendars, analyze data, prepare presentations, and develop recommendations to brand visibility, while leading a statewide team to meet the agency's marketing and communication needs.

Essential Job Functions :

  • Responsible for establishing an internal system of accountability, accuracy, and reporting to ensure successful marketing campaigns.
  • Use data to inform campaign decision-making and provide an analysis of campaign success in accordance with historicals.
  • Manage and oversee vendors.
  • Assess campaign spend and allocate in accordance with marketing strategy.
  • Execute the marketing plans, using a variety of modalities.
  • Oversee a variety of communications including, but not limited to website, socials, brochures, internal communications, marketing collateral, advertising, and crisis communication;

this includes writing, editing, and proofreading content and overseeing distribution.

  • Facilitate the implementation of brand guidelines to improve the effectiveness of brand identification and alignment.
  • Manage timing and content of communications in order to maximize outreach.
  • Responsible for supporting various key Marketing initiatives designed to increase market awareness and brand recognition.
  • Manage and coordinate the creation of promotional materials and events to enhance the image of the agency.
  • Seek opportunities for local media coverage.
  • Facilitate Marketing and Communication collaboration groups.
  • Collaborate with vendors on projects such as branding, marketing collateral, website design, social media, and recruitment.
  • Lead the selection of vendors.
  • Collaborate with purchasing on other needed State approvals and submittals.
  • Supervise staff members, assist with the creation of annual goals, in partnership with the Director, facilitate the annual performance reviews, and build a cohesive and mission-focused team of professionals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Travel : 10-30% - Including two visits per year to meet with direct reports on-site at various locations.

Education & Experience :

Education

BA degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred

Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in marketing
  • Preferred : 1-2 years of experience in managing others
  • Experience in child development or child focused non-profit is advantageous

Other Qualifications :

  • Experience with Google Ads, Meta platforms, and digital spend allocation / analytics
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Knowledge of reputation management best practices
  • Working knowledge of website analytics and content management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of event planning, public relations, and marketing principles and practices
  • Demonstrated skill in the use of PC / MAC desktop publishing and word processing, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of research methodology, interpreting results, and data analysis
  • Superb writing, editing, and proofreading skills; ability to write in a variety of styles
  • Experience in the direct management of staff in a goal-driven environment
  • Experience and comfort with facilitation of committee meetings, preparing presentations, and speaking effectively in a variety of public forum
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate and manage a variety of tasks and deadlines

Shift Type : Full Time, Exempt, Hyrbid (3 days per week onsite)

Compensation : $89,052 - $133,578 annually
