Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift 3pm to 1 : 30AM

About Us : Join our dynamic team where innovation meets excellence! We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to contribute to the success of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the installation, repair, maintenance, and service operations of our plant machinery, equipment, and facilities.

Key Responsibilities : As a Maintenance Technician, you will :

Perform mechanical operations to install, maintain, and repair die cast machines, melting furnaces, compressors, steel shot blast units, trim presses, machine tools, and other equipment.

Diagnose and correct difficulties encountered in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical operations of equipment.

Install, adjust, repair, and replace electrical equipment and controls, including PLC equipment.

Inspect machines and equipment, preparing detailed reports following standard procedures.

Conduct welding (MIG, TIG, stick) as needed for fabrication.

Operate a forklift as required.

Maintain necessary records and reports.

Assist in wastewater management, including monitoring and spill cleanup, as needed.

Perform preventative maintenance and service operations throughout the plant, office, and ground areas.

Create and utilize a work order system, properly documenting actions and time.

Maintain a clean and orderly (5S) work area consistent with safety and work rules and regulations.

Work safely around and operate heavy equipment or manufacturing machinery.

Work overtime hours as required and be available for emergency overtime when needed.

Regularly report for work on time with a commitment to performing to the best of your abilities.

Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Collaborate with others in a team environment.

Exhibit the company's core values.

Demonstrate the ability to work in other classifications or departments as needed.

Communicate effectively with associates and between shifts on daily activities.

Communicate and exchange information on problem areas with supervisors and fellow coworkers.

Job Specifications : To succeed in this role, you should :

Have knowledge of basic math, reading, and writing.

Preferably possess a high school diploma.

Possess basic computer skills.

Have experience in blueprint, schematic, and diagram reading for electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Certification, Education, and Work Experience :

Basic math, reading, and writing skills.

High School Diploma preferred.

Basic computer skills.

Experience in blueprint, schematic, and diagram reading for electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
