We are looking for a Senior Information Security Analyst with demonstrated experience planning, documenting, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring security measures for the protection of computer network systems and information.

A week in the life of a Senior Information Security Analyst :
- Assess system vulnerabilities, propose and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Troubleshoot technical problems with staff.
- Maintain documentation of maintenance procedures carried out.
- Contribute to the performance and success of warfighters for a program focused on Distance Learning (DL) related technologies and systems including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) support.
- Serve as a lead for the team responsible for information assurance posture of networks and systems and support system certification and accreditation.
- Ensure appropriate controls are in place to safeguard files and vital electronic infrastructure.
- Lead the development of documentation to support certification of compliance to standards.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and operational.
- Assist in training staff on new technologies.
Job Requirements
- Active Secret Clearance
- MS / MA degree and 10 years experience OR BS / BA degree and 14 years experience At least 5 years of the experience must be in all phases of IA and cybersecurity.
At least 5 years of the experience must include practical experience in secure network and system design, analysis, test design, test execution, and implementation of security mechanisms.
- Active Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM).
- Able to work well both independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
