Responsibilities
Apply specialized clinical knowledge and advanced clinical skills in the areas of assessment,
diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, behavioral and developmental disorders, conditions and addictions.
- Administer and interpret tests and measure of psychosocial functioning for the purpose of diagnosing mental, emotional, behavioral, addictive and developmental disorders and disabilities.
- Develop and implement appropriate assessment-based treatment plans.
- Consult with team managers, statutory and voluntary agencies and patient's relatives to ensure compliance with the patient's treatment plan.
- Provide crisis-oriented psychotherapy as well as short-term and long-term psychotherapy and psychotherapeutic treatment.
- Document patient therapy in accordance with both federal and state regulations.
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration :
- Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Approved Local Exception preferred.
- Drivers License preferred.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and rofessional Regulation preferred.
- Certified Case Manager credentialed from the American Case Management Association (ACMA) preferred.
- Certified Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC) preferred.
Education :
Master's degree in Social Work required.
Work Experience :
- 3 years of experience preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute setting preferred.
