This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

Qualifications :

  • 2+ years' experience in aerospace or related fields.
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Experience in w et / dry installing of hi loc / hi lite, blind rivet, solid rivets type fasteners.
  • Ability to use standard mechanical tools, precision measuring devices and fabrication shop equipment.
  • Experience torquing fluid and pneumatic fittings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team.
  • Experience drilling precision holes in a variety of materials (aluminum, composite, titanium)
  • Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate differing opinions in a collaborative environment without conflict among other team members.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.

S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired :

  • 5+ years of experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and vehicle integration.
  • A&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration.
  • Experience with assembly in a clean room environment.
  • Experience handling / installing ESD sensitive components.
  • Experience in structural / component bonding, including material preparation and adhesive mixing.
  • Experience with orbital tube welding and / or composite structure fabrication.
  • Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware.
  • Working knowledge of a variety of rocket propellants, including liquid oxygen / liquid hydrogen and liquid nitrogen.
  • Knowledge in the use of 3-D CAD tools

Compensation range for on-site WA applicants is $29.03-$40.65
