POSITION OVERVIEW

dormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Seattle, WA. This position will be responsible for the install and service of a variety of doors, equipment, and control devices.

HOURLY HIRING RANGE : $38.13 / hr - $45 / hr plus mandatory overtime as needed (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).

This position includes a competitive benefits package.

$500 Sign-on Bonus (candidates with a current EL 10 electrical license are eligible)

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of automated access doors and equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner

WHAT WE REQUIRE

• Mechanical knowledge, 3+ years of relevant experience
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment
• Physical requirements, including ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds, stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, and work overhead

WHAT WE PREFER

• Electrical license (EL 10 Electrical License) or knowledge of basic electronics and electrical theory, principles of microprocessor-controlled equipment and multi-meter instruments
• 2+ years’ experience as an automatic door installer or service technician
• AAADM certification
