Position Summary : As a Guest Service Associate (GSA) at European Wax Center, you play a pivotal role in delivering a professional, high-quality experience to our guests, embodying our core values while maintaining a cheerful and positive demeanor.
You are the first and last impression our guests have, making your role essential to their overall experience. This position goes beyond fostering a welcoming environment;
it also involves actively promoting and selling our wax passes. In addition to your base pay, you have the opportunity to earn commissions from wax pass sales and participate in monthly competitions.
Core Responsibilities :
- Conduct sales of wax passes.
- Manage opening and closing procedures.
- Oversee guest flow, addressing questions and managing the Reservation Book.
- Educate guests on Wax Pass benefits, our product portfolio, and product demonstrations.
- Maintain the front of the center, including restocking and refilling brochure holders.
- Inform guests about current promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and meet center and individual performance goals.
- Check weekly schedules and adhere to the dress code.
- Follow all corporate policies and procedures.
- Engage in community events and marketing activities as requested.
- Participate in weekly training sessions and actively engage.
- Create memorable experiences by personalizing interactions with guests.
Knowledge and Skills :
- Education : High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Experience : Sales : 1 year (Preferred)
- Work Location : In person
- Flexible availability, including weekends.
- Positive and personable demeanor.
- Receptive to feedback and able to work independently.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with POS systems preferred.
- Must be 18+
Physical and Environmental Considerations
- Strength Demands : Medium - Involving up to 50 lbs. of lifting occasionally.
- Physical Demands : Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and reaching. Occasional sitting and carrying.
- Environmental Factors : Fast-paced, primarily indoor environment. May involve some outdoor tasks and irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Tools and Equipment
Use of center equipment such as cash registers, cleaning supplies, and office equipment. Some maintenance tasks as required.
Shifts :
- Shifts : Mon - Fri (8 : 00AM - 2 : 00PM) and / or (2 : 00PM - 8 : 30PM), Saturday 8 : 30AM - 5 : 00PM / 10 : 00AM - 6 : 30PM, Sunday 10 : 00 : AM to 6 : 30PM.
- Weekend availability for Saturday or Sunday required.
