Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicates service needs, additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen and Director throughout mealtimes
- Ensures serving line and dining room are ready for service and proper appointments are displayed on every table
- Ensures proper portion, arrangement and food garnish and adherence to quality expectations, checks and logs food temperatures
- Inspects cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver prior to use
- Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day
- Follows all company and safety and security policies and HACCP procedures; reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;
and completes safety training and certifications
- Ensures uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional, maintains confidentiality of proprietary information, and protects company assets
- Welcomes and acknowledges all guests according to company standards and checks with customers during meal periods to ensure satisfaction
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others
- Other duties as required and assigned
