Application Engineering Intern - Summer 2025

Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Application Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in building automation and contribute to the success of construction projects.

This role will be in our Charlotte, NC area. What will you do?

• Conduct checks on VAV (Variable Air Volume) boxes and wiring panels for digital building control platform
• Perform checkouts of controller boxes, air handle controller, dampers, temperature readings, and fans to ensure they are operational and follow the sequence of operations
• Conduct functional testing of building automation systems
• Working at jobsites and performing field tests What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
• Educational background or skills in engineering, electrical / mechanical, and HVAC services a plus
• HVAC trade experience is highly desirable
• Ability to work fast-paced environment
