The Quality Auditor will be responsible for attending / auditing telecommunication sites (Central Office) where they will ensure completed builds (both upgrades and new installations, active and passive elements) have been installed / constructed in accordance with the site design and industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Applies both Customer and Industry Standards / Practices, understands documentation of the National Electric Code, and other industry standard documents.
  • Ensures engineering specifications, assignments, and job drawings are in accordance with specifications and that proper documentation is provided.
  • Audits installation workmanship to ensure accuracy.
  • Develops a list of variances for correction and verifies completed corrections per company standards.

Qualifications

  • High School plus specialized training.
  • 3-5 years’ experience as an auditor in Telecommunications, specifically in a Central Office environment.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Valid US Driver's License.
  • Knowledge of Telecommunications equipment installation.
  • Knowledge of equipment installation, detail engineering, Telcordia standards.

Working Conditions

Exposure to mechanical, electrical, and / or other hazards.
