A leading company within the Yachting Industry in South Florida, specializing in HVAC cleaning and air quality solutions onboard yachts, is currently seeking an experienced Field Service Supervisor to oversee and direct the day-to-day operations of our team of technicians on projects in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a field service company.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and random drug screening.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and supervise the daily operations of up to 10 field technicians.
- Daily visits to project sites to support and engage field staff.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of technicians servicing and maintaining HVAC and ventilation systems onboard yachts.
- Train technicians; plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance.
- Interact directly with clients, vessel crew, yacht marinas, and shipyard personnel.
- Review technicians’ work to ensure quality meets established standards, techniques, and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and implement plans to optimize service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Prevent, detect, and correct violations of service procedures and safety rules.
- Inspect and monitor work areas, examine tools and equipment, and provide employee safety training.
- Read, analyze, and interpret written or verbal reports, correspondence, proposals, and blueprints.
- Assist technicians in diagnosing marine / yacht HVAC and ventilation systems.
- Conduct onboard inspections and surveys.
- Requisition and maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Study project schedules and estimate labor requirements for job completion.
- Interpret and communicate company policies to field technicians.
- Recommend measures to improve service procedures, equipment performance, and quality of services.
- Maintain time and production records.
- Perform upselling and cross-selling activities during ongoing projects.

COMPENSATION : $80,000+ per year
