We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in NYC. The role involves assisting in organizing events and providing excellent customer service within the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities :
- Checking in guests and providing them with appropriate badges
- Assisting in the organization of annual meetings and Q& A sessions
- Distributing name tags to guests and providing necessary directions
- Responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues they may encounter
- Ensuring accurate record keeping of customer interactions
- Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions
- Performing clerical duties as required to facilitate smooth operations.
- Proven experience in a customer service role is required, prior background in a similar role is a plus
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are needed
- Must possess strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm and professional is essential
- Proficiency with computers, especially in data entry, emailing, and MS Office products is necessary
- Strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics
- A commitment to excellent customer service is crucial
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
- Experience using computers for various tasks
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent. Higher education degree is a plus.
