Job Title : Staff Accountant
Job Description
- Perform closing processes for month-end according to Our Client deadlines
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
- Provides support to the Controller for key accounting functions, including inventory valuation, excess and obsolescence reserve calculations, monthly inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, and coordination of annual physical observations
- Assists in month-end close process by providing analysis of results as guided by Controller
- Fixed asset management Track and record monthly capital expenditures, properly capitalizing PP&E, monitor CAPEX for cash flow spend by project
- Focus on continuous improvement by proactively identifying and implementing improvements of workpapers and processes with an emphasis on reducing inefficiencies and increasing accuracy, integrity, and productivity
