Summary
The Department of Mathematics and Applied Sciences (MAS) at Harris-Stowe State University is creating a pool of potential adjunct instructors to teach mathematics, statistics, introductory computer programming, and / or data sciences. Courses in Statistics use the R statistical language and courses in data science use Python. Appointments are for immediate and upcoming semesters on as as-needed basis semester to semester. Generally, an adjunct instructor will teach a minimum of one course per academic year.
Essential Functions
Minimum Education and Experience
The successful candidate must possess a Doctorate or a Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related field from an accredited university. In addition, eighteen (18) credit hours of graduate level coursework must be related to the area of instruction.
