About The Job Dudek is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager within the Treatment Group focused on collaborating with clients and staff to address technical challenges related to water and wastewater treatment, as well as pumping station projects.

You’ll be at the forefront of business development, crafting proposals, and overseeing project activities from initial planning through design and construction support.

This role will allow the unique opportunity to work on projects involving cutting-edge technology and the latest in treatment design.

A Senior Project Managers in this role would gain exposure to a wide variety of treatment-related engineering projects, including planning work (facility plans, process evaluation, alternatives analysis, O&M optimization, risk & reliability assessments, etc.

design work (unit process design and / or full plant design including in-house mechanical design, civil design, and coordination with subconsultants for electrical, structural, and architectural design), and engineering services during construction (submittal & RFI review, change order review, and startup support).

Duties and Responsibilities (may include some or all of the below) : You’ll be at the forefront of project design, meticulously crafting reports, construction drawings, specifications, and calculations for diverse initiatives.

Your critical eye will review project designs and drawings, ensuring alignment with engineering principles, regulatory standards, contractual obligations, and other specifications.

Building strong client relationships is paramount. You’ll engage with clients to define project scopes, estimate staffing needs, and finalize budgets.

Throughout project lifecycles, you’ll maintain client connections, leveraging both organizational involvement and direct communication.

Your technical expertise will shine as you develop comprehensive studies, reports, and designs related to water and wastewater treatment, as well as recycled water systems.

Balancing workloads across the team, you’ll collaborate closely with fellow engineers and managers. Provide strategic recommendations to senior management regarding staffing and resource allocation.

As a mentor, you’ll guide engineering staff on technical matters, ensuring successful project execution and adherence to schedules and budgets.

Whether acting as a Project Manager or a team member, your leadership will drive projects from planning to successful completion.

Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in in Civil / Environmental Engineering. 10+ years’ experience in civil engineering consulting or engineering management.

Excellent writing and communication skills are essential. PE licensure in the State of California, or ability to obtain PE licensure within 6 months of hire.

PE licensure in other states that firm is actively practicing may also be considered. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment.

As a federal contractor, successful candidates are required to pass the following pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment : pre - employment drug test and background check.

Physical Requirements Working Conditions : This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.

This job requires occasional project site visits-based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment.

Physical Requirements : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met in order to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

This job requires working on a computer, sitting or standing for long periods of time in an office or remote office setting.

This job requires attending meetings, both in person and virtually as well as speaking on the phone with peers, clients, etc.

Speaking, hearing and listening are required. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Outdoor activity may involve walking / trekking in uneven terrain over long distances in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time.

Proposed Salary Range : $150,000 - $190,000 annually* *Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
