Job Title : Manual Machinist

Job Description

The Manual Machinist will be responsible for machining parts utilizing blueprints and manual machines. They will be using engine lathes, turret lathes, Bridgeport mills, drill presses, tool grinders, and CNC Mills to perform machining operations, such as milling, drilling, boring, and reaming metal workpieces, such as machine or tool parts.

The machinist will analyze specifications and decide on tooling according to their knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures.

Work Environment

Well-lit and a lot of character in the building. The building has several windows, it was built in 1906. The temperatures may not always be controlled and could vary from hot to cold, depending on the season.

In the summer months, they have fans going and can open doors.
