$17.25 per hour
$18.25 per hour plus 16 hours of PTO once you complete your Med Certification
Tue. 7 : 00am-10 : 00am
Wed. 7 : 00am-10 : 00am
Thur. 2 : 00pm-11 : 00pm
Fri. 2 : 00pm-11 : 00pm
Sat. 3 : 00pm-11 : 00pm
Must have a valid Driver's License
Job Summary :
We are seeking a dependable Direct Care Support professional to join our team in Waterbury, CT. This role involves providing assistance and support to individuals with diverse abilities to help them lead fulfilling lives.
The position is full-time, requiring 32 hours of work per week.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working in direct care or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable individual.
- Successful completion of Medication Certification Program.
- Completion of PMT, CPR, and First Aid training programs.
- Valid CT driver's license with a satisfactory record.
Responsibilities :
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, hygiene, and transportation.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals.
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors.
- Document and report any changes or concerns regarding the individuals' well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individuals.
