Junior Interior Designer Location : New York Job Description Raychel Wade Design is seeking a fantastic, fun and motivation rock star to join the team as a Junior Designer.
This is an ideal position for a creative and organized individual who has a keen eye for design and a successful track record for managing projects from conception to installation to photo shoot.
This position is a hybrid of WFH and in office and we are highly flexible. Responsibilities include but not limited to :
- Work directly with Raychel to oversee multiple projects
- Manage day to day schedules with contractors, subcontractors, vendors and purchasing agents
- Engage with clients to communicate timelines and provide updates
- Plan, manage and coordinate timelines for installation and photoshoots
- Serve as the lead CAD designer responsible for creating space plans, elevations, custom millwork, and bespoke furnishings drawings for all projects
- Responsible for the creation of lighting plans, finish schedules, and all presentation materials including design boards
- Assist in sourcing for projects based on direction from Raychel and her vision for the spaces being designed
- Engage clients, vendors, and sub-contractors in a professional and confident manner
Job Requirements -Degree and experience in Interior Design field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop are a must. Proficiency in Canva, Google Suite, Studio Manager, Dubsado and Airtable a plus.
- Willingness to study, learn and apply the RWD design aesthetic to projects, while also tapping into your own innovation and creative juices
- Excellent project management, organizational, and customer service skills
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities
- Professional, friendly, and polished verbal and written communication
- Inherent ability to be transparent, honest and learn from mistakes
- Highly organized with an ability to easily adapt to an every changing landscape
