Remote Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) California Opportunity
ProCare Therapy is thrilled to announce our new partnership with a highly regarded school district. We are actively seeking Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year.
Both full-time and part-time professionals are encouraged to apply to join our team. The Special Education Director eagerly anticipates meeting dedicated individuals who are passionate about these essential roles within our Special Education Office, ensuring outstanding support for students' educational needs.
Position Overview :
- Grade Levels : K-12
- Employment Type : Full-time and Part-time positions available
- School Year : 2024-2025
- Work Location : Fully Remote
Key Responsibilities :
- IEP Development : Contribute to the development of the IEP, including goals, modifications, and learning styles.
- Consultation : Collaborate with diagnosticians, classroom teachers, related service therapists, students, and parents on appropriate evaluations, modifications, and test administration.
- Testing Materials : Obtain modified standardized testing materials and assist in their administration as needed.
- Liaison Role : Act as a liaison with other agencies in the vocational assessment process.
- Time Management : Efficiently schedule time for assessment, instruction, planning, preparation of materials, travel, and conferences with relevant school and other key individuals.
- Parental Contact : Maintain ongoing communication with parents to foster a realistic understanding of their childs abilities, progress, and future goals.
- Training Programs : Conduct in-service training for school personnel and students, and educate parents on the needs of speech-impaired students and available adaptations, programs, and services.
Qualifications :
- Education : Master's Degree in Speech and Communicative Disorders.
- Certification : Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience : Prior experience in a school setting is required.
- Licensure : Must hold a valid SLP license in California and all necessary state credentials.
